定义一个好学校的标准不仅仅是看教学质量水平，也需要结合自己的背景比如说专业，学校的世界排名，以及其他因素，地理位置，费用，政策福利等。
首先说G5，G5是英国最好的学校了。G5，超级精英大学。是英国顶尖的高等学府，也叫金砖五校。拥有着英国，乃至世界最好的教育资源，投资。G5包括了牛津大学Oxford，剑桥大学Cambridge，帝国理工学院Imperial,伦敦政治经济学院LSE，以及伦敦大学学院UCL。这五所大学可以作为自己奋斗的目标而努力。
商学院之中可以考虑的还有伦敦商学院LBS
曼彻斯特大学，位于英国第二大城市。六所红砖大学之一，也属于英国常青藤联盟。英国排名前十的大学。其他五所红砖大学的名气也是十分大的。伯明翰大学，利兹大学，谢尔菲德大学，布里斯托大学，以及利物浦大学。
其他的大学也有爱丁堡大学，诺丁汉大学，杜伦大学，巴斯大学，华威大学，南安普顿大学，格拉斯哥大学，约克大学，萨里大学，考文垂大学等。
